Everything You Need to Know

Frequently asked questions.

First Visit & Consultations +
What should I expect at my first appointment? +
We start by really talking — your skin concerns, what you are hoping for, your current routine, your day-to-day. Then I customize your treatment right there based on what your skin actually needs. If it is your first time, I would book the Consult + Facial so you can get a feel for everything before committing to a specific service.
How do I know which facial is right for me? +
Honestly, that is what the consultation is for — do not stress about picking the “right” one. Book my Facial + Consult and we will chat through your skin goals, then I will customize the perfect treatment for you. You are also always welcome to email or DM me beforehand and I will happily point you in the right direction.
Do you work with all skin types and tones? +
Absolutely — all skin types, tones, and ages are welcome here. Because every treatment is customized, the products and techniques I reach for are chosen for your skin specifically. I work with sensitive, acne-prone, mature, and hyperpigmentation concerns all the time.
Do you do facials for men too? +
Yes! I offer treatments for everyone — every facial is built around your individual skin and goals, no matter who you are.
Do you offer safe treatments for pregnant or nursing women? +
Yes. Your comfort and safety mean everything to me, so please just let me know if you are pregnant or nursing when you come in. That way I can make sure every product and step is a safe, happy fit for you.
Facials & Skin +
How often should I get a facial, and why? +
For the best results, I recommend coming in about every 4 weeks. A consistent rhythm like that is really what lets your skin make — and hold onto — real progress over time. That said, I will always suggest a cadence that fits your skin and your budget, with zero pressure.
Is there anything I should avoid before or after my facial? +
Before, come makeup-free if you can and skip strong exfoliants or acids for a few days. After, give your skin a little TLC — avoid sun, heat, sweating, and harsh products for about 24 hours to keep that glow going.
What should I do to prepare for my facial? +
Come however is easy for you — clean or lightly made-up is great, but do not worry if not, since we double cleanse to start. Try to skip retinol or strong actives for 3–5 days beforehand, especially if your skin runs sensitive. And do give me a heads-up about any allergies, skin conditions, or recent procedures so I can plan around them.
Will my skin be red or sensitive after a facial? +
A little redness is totally normal, especially after extractions, and it usually settles within a few hours. Most of my services have little to no downtime. I will always tell you what to expect for your specific treatment and send you home knowing exactly how to care for your skin.
Lash Treatments +
How long does a lash lift last? +
Usually 6–8 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle and how you care for them afterward.
How long does a lash tint last? +
A tint typically lasts 4–6 weeks, fading gradually as your natural lashes shed and new ones grow in.
Will a lash lift damage my natural lashes? +
Not when it is done properly and you follow the aftercare. I use high-quality, gentle solutions specifically to keep your natural lashes healthy and happy.
Can I get a lash lift and tint at the same time? +
Absolutely — and it is one of my favorite combos. Together they give you curled, darker, more defined lashes with no mascara needed. Perfect if you want a low-maintenance routine that still looks done.
Can I wear mascara after a lash lift or tint? +
Yes, just give it at least 24 hours first. I would skip waterproof mascara though — it can weaken the lift over time.
How should I care for my lashes after a lift or tint? +
For the first 24 hours, keep water, steam, heavy sweating, makeup, and oils away from your lashes. After that, just be gentle and try not to rub them.
What should I avoid before my lash appointment? +
Please come with clean eyes — no makeup, mascara, or oily products. Removing makeup during your appointment eats into your service time and can affect your results.
How soon can I get another lash lift? +
I would wait at least 6–8 weeks, or until your lashes have finished a full growth cycle, before lifting again.
Brow Lamination & Tinting +
What is brow lamination? +
It is a gentle treatment that smooths, lifts, and sets your brows in place for a fuller, more uniform look — no extra hairs or tinting required. Think of it as a blowout for your brows.
How long does brow lamination last? +
Typically 6–8 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and how you care for them afterward.
Makeup & Prep +
Should I take off my makeup before my appointment? +
If you can, arriving makeup-free lets us spend your whole appointment on your treatment rather than removal. For lash lifts and brow lamination especially, you will need to arrive with zero makeup on those areas — any leftover makeup or oils can affect your results. Coming straight from work? No worries, I can remove it for you — but bare-faced gives you the best outcome from your golden hour.
Booking & Policies +
What is your cancellation policy? +
I ask that any changes or cancellations be made at least 24 hours before your appointment. Anything inside that window is considered a late cancellation and is subject to a fee of 20% of your scheduled service. As a courtesy, I send confirmation messages before appointments — but not replying to one does not count as canceling, so to avoid a fee, please cancel more than 24 hours ahead. Truly, life happens — just reach out as soon as you know and we will sort it out together.
What happens if I am late to my appointment? +
If you are running late, I will do my best to fit your service into the remaining time — but please know a few steps may have to be skipped to stay on schedule for the next guest. A heads-up if you are running behind is always appreciated.
Can I bring my child to my appointment? +
I want your time here to feel as relaxing and distraction-free as possible — for you and for my other guests — so I kindly ask that you come solo and arrange childcare ahead of time. It helps me keep the space peaceful so you can fully enjoy your golden hour of self-care.
Do you offer gift cards? +
Yes! You can grab one online through my booking platform. They make such a lovely gift for any occasion, and they work toward any service.
Parking & Location +
Where do I park? +
Easy — you can park in the front or back of the building, or along the side street. Come on in whenever you arrive and make yourself at home!
What building are you located in? +
I am tucked inside The New Abnormal — the blue building! Come through the main entrance, hang a left, walk around the corner, and you will spot my studio. See you soon!
